In view of bird flu, chickens, eggs and ducks are being destroyed in Ranchi

Ranchi, 27 April (HS). After the confirmation of bird flu in Hotwar, capital Ranchi, the work of culling of poultry, scientific disposal and complete disinfection is going on continuously within a radius of one kilometer of the affected area.

In this regard, Dr. Ganesh Mahali said that the team is continuously doing its work in the area. So far 1800 chickens, 1697 eggs and 451 ducks have been destroyed.

It is noteworthy that on April 25, after the presence of H Five N One in the samples of poultry of the Regional Poultry Farm located at Hotwar, Ranchi, as a precautionary measure, Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha has ordered to clean any live or dead poultry within a radius of one kilometer. The purchase, sale and transportation of poultry products and eggs was banned till further orders.
