Vadodara News: After Navratri, the great festival of devotion and worship of Mataji, on the occasion of Dussehra, the great festival of victory of truth over untruth, Ramlila is staged by North Indian Culture 'Nika' at the Polo Ground on the same evening, situated on Rajmahal Road. Then the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna and Meghnad are burnt.
Today, for the 43rd consecutive year, Ramlila and Ravana Dahan are being organized at 9:30 pm on the great festival of Dussehra. All the preparations for which have been completed and lakhs of city residents will come at night to watch Ramlila and Ravana Dahan.
Today, on the occasion of Dussehra festival, North Indian Cultural Association has organized Ramlila and Ravana Dahan at the Polo Ground. In which 50 feet high effigies of Ravana, 40 feet high Kumbhakarna and Meghnath will be burnt after Ramlila. Also, in Vadodara, a big plastic bag has been placed on the rain coat to protect the three effigies from rain. After the conclusion of Ramlila presented by 120 artists ranging from 2 years to 75 years, the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna and Meghnath will be burnt at 9:30 pm tonight.

On this occasion, for the last 43 years, North Indian Culture 'Nika' has been staging Ramlila on the occasion of Dussehra Mahaparva in the huge ground Polo Ground of Vadodara.
On this occasion, a brief scene from the epic Ramayana is narrated by the artists. Every year Ramayana is staged mostly by the same actors. Some Muslim actors also participate in certain characters in Ramayana performances over the years. Therefore, communal unity is also seen on this occasion.
After the death of Lord Shri Ram after the staging of Ramayana, the effigies of Ravana, Meghnath and Kumbhakarna already installed at one end of the ground are burnt by this organization. In which colorful firecrackers are fired, the audience gets the privilege of watching the burning of these three effigies. On this occasion, more than one lakh spectators gather at the Polo Ground to watch the staging of Ramayana and witness the exciting burning of the effigies of Ravana, Meghnad and Kumbhakarna.
