Jaipur, 17 April (HS). Special events are being organized in the temples of Pink City on the birth anniversary of Lord Ram (Ramanavami). The Lord was anointed with Panchamrit in the temple of Sitaram ji located in Chhoti Chowpar in Jaipur. Ramdhuni programs are going on in the temple. Also, the arrival of devotees continues.
Grand programs were organized on Ram Navami in the 130 year old Sitaram temple located in Chandpol. The programs started with Mangala Aarti at 6 am. After this Mangal Kashal was worshipped. Panchamrit Abhishek was performed at 11 am, in which Abhishek was done with ghee, milk, curd, honey and other ingredients. The Lord was anointed with saffron, perfume and rose water. Lord's birth aarti took place at 2.30 pm. Since then, the round of greetings to the devotees on the birth anniversary of God continued.
Priest Abhishek Tiwari told that the temple was decorated with Pitambari colors. A special tableau of flowers was decorated in the temple. The Lord was made to wear a golden crown studded with Kundan-Meena. The Lord was made to wear special jewellery. Fine silver was ground and mixed with sandalwood and applied.
In Jaipur, former royal family and descendant of Lord Shri Ram, Deputy CM Diya Kumari also performed special prayers on the occasion of Ram Navami.
