An official of the municipal corporation team said that the robot has been helping the residents of Gumi city in administrative work for about a year. It was found dead at the bottom of the stairs last week. That is, it was not active. The official said, eyewitnesses saw the robot moving back and forth before jumping, as if something went wrong. Investigations are underway to find out the circumstances of the incident. It is also being said that the robot was under stress due to work.
The robot worked from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The official further said that the parts of the robot have been collected and the company that designed it will analyse it. Another official lamented, 'It was officially part of the city municipality and it was one of us.' Developed by Bear Robotics in California, the robot operated from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and had its own public service card. Unlike other robots confined to one floor, he could call an elevator and go up and down floors.
