Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Rashmi Ranjan Swain has said that 60 to 70 terrorists are on launch pads across the Line of Control (LoC) waiting to infiltrate into India. Swain, who is in charge of Jammu and Kashmir Police and CID, said that the meeting of security advisors has revealed the fact that the enemy has not yet curbed the flow of material inside the Indian border. Drone activity continues in the border areas. Without naming Pakistan, he also mentioned the presence of terrorists infiltrating from the neighborhood. He said that success in dealing with terrorist activity has come with necessity, but he also believes that the threat across the border still remains. India is trying to reduce the enemy's ability to destabilize the country.

The challenge of cross-border drones

On the issue of shooting down drones coming from across the border, the DGP said that drone activity is a very challenging problem because with the help of drones, smuggling of weapons, ammunition, cash and narcotics to terrorists is possible. We are in a stronger position than ever to face this threat. But constant monitoring is necessary to eliminate this activity.
