Fatehabad, June 1 (HS). A case has come to light in Ratia city of the district where some miscreants attacked two youths and snatched their cash and motorcycle. Both the youths injured in the attack were admitted to the government hospital of Ratia from where they were referred to Agroha Medical College. Ratia police has registered a case in this matter on Saturday.
In the complaint given to the police, Sachin, a resident of Sukhlampur village, has said that he works in Ratia. Last evening, when he was returning home, he received a call from his nephew Ankit and he said that he should go to the trade fair in Ratia. After this, he went to see the trade fair. At around 10:30 pm, when he was returning to the village and reached near Lohari Chowk, Anaaj Mandi Road, Ratia, 5 youths were standing in front of him on two motorcycles with Gandasa and weapons in their hands.
On seeing them, he turned his motorcycle back but the above mentioned youths followed him and stopped him. These youths started beating him. One of these youths was named Kalu, resident of Ramnagar Colony, Ratia. Sachin said that these youths forcefully took out Rs. 1700 from his pocket and beat up Ankit.
These people also broke their motorcycles. Later, the youth fled with Ankit's motorcycle leaving him soaked in blood and also threatened to kill him. Gogi and Papli of Sukhlampur village who came to the spot admitted him to the hospital for treatment. In this case, Ratia police has registered a case and started investigation.
