Congress’s survey on Maharashtra elections: After a stellar performance in the Lok Sabha elections, Congress’s defeat in Haryana and Maharashtra is a big blow for the party. After these two elections, the entire opposition including Congress is once again raising the issue of EVMs vigorously. However, there are differences in the party regarding this. According to media reports, an internal survey of Congress before the Maharashtra elections has revealed that the party is losing badly in Maharashtra.

103 seats were included in the October survey
According to media reports, 103 seats were included in the survey conducted in October. In which Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is leading on only 44 seats. Also, this figure was 54 in the Lok Sabha elections. In comparison, the BJP-led Mahayuti was ahead on 56 seats, whereas during the Lok Sabha elections this figure was 49 seats. Whereas the results of one seat and two other seats were inconclusive.

Shock from Shinde’s ‘Girl Sister Scheme’!

Congress’ internal survey has also revealed that the ‘Girl Sister Scheme’ of Eknath Shinde government is working in Maharashtra. There was a question in this survey, do you know about the Girl Sister Scheme? 57,309 people took part in this survey conducted on 103 seats. In which 88 percent people responded positively about this scheme. Of these, 82 percent said they had someone in their family who was a beneficiary of the scheme, while 17 percent said the scheme had changed their voting preferences.

Congress got support only from Muslim voters

The survey report revealed that Muslims are the only section which is getting support for MVA. In the survey of 103 seats, MVA had a complete lead over NDA in Muslim dominated seats. While in all other categories – General, OBC, SBC, SC, SEBC, ST, Mahayuti was ahead of MVA.

The survey also revealed that the NDA is ahead of the MVA across all age groups, highest among young voters. Of these 103 seats, Congress contested 52, Shiv Sena (UBT) 28, NCP Sharad Pawar 21 and CPM and Samajwadi Party contested one seat each.
