How did the accident happen
A minor boy was driving a car recklessly near K.D.K. College in Venkatesanagar Square under Nandanavan police station. The black car suddenly went out of control. The out of control car first hit some two-wheelers parked on the roadside and then rammed into a crowd of fruit and vegetable vendors and some pedestrians. The badly damaged car finally stopped after hitting a tree on the roadside.
Five people died after being crushed under the car
The car accident caused chaos on the road. Five people including a fruit and vegetable vendor were injured. It is reported that two are in critical condition. There are also reports of major damage to several vehicles. The angry mob pulled the minor out of the car and beat him up. They killed him and threw him half dead on the road. Later some people saved the accused minor from the mob and then handed him over to the police.
The police arrested
The police have taken the minor and the car owner Mangesh Gomash into custody. Gomash is found to be associated with a political party. Gomash gave the keys to a minor working in the garage. The minor was asked by his owner to park the car parked on the road somewhere far away. The police have also taken the garage owner Mahesh Gonade into custody for forcing the minor to drive the car.
