A case of serving tea mixed with spit to tourists has come to light at Library Chowk in Mussoorie. It is alleged that two Muslim youths were serving tea mixed with spit to tourists for a long time. A tourist made a video of this, after which the matter heated up. Police have arrested both the accused. Hindu organizations have also opposed this incident.
Jasan, Mussoorie. Mussoorie Viral Video: There was an uproar in Mussoorie, the queen of hills, over the incident of serving tea to tourists by spitting at Library Chowk. It is alleged that two Muslim youths who were street vendors were serving tea to tourists for a long time.
Recently a tourist from Doon made a video of this. On which both the youths abused the tourist and threatened to kill him. A complaint was lodged in the SSP office on behalf of the tourist. As soon as the matter became public on Wednesday, Hindu organizations got angry in Mussoorie and rioted.
Considering the seriousness of the incident, on the instructions of SSP Ajay Singh, Mussoorie Police has arrested both the accused and registered a case against them for inciting religious sentiments and playing with the health of the people.

Along with this, after the video of a restaurant located in Inamula Building of Doon city serving food to customers with spit in a napkin went viral, the police closed the restaurant and started investigation.
A video was sent to Mussoorie Police
Himanshu Vishnoi, a resident of Nehrugram in Dehradun, sent a video to the Mussoorie Police on Tuesday, in which a young man is seen spitting in a tea pot. Himanshu said that when he was on Mussoorie tour, he was shooting the film at Library Chowk, when he saw two youths selling tea, Maggi and other items at a street vendor.
A young man was serving tea to customers by repeatedly spitting in the tea pot. When he protested, the accused threatened to kill him. On the complaint, the police have registered a case against both the youth in Mussoorie police station. After the matter became public on Wednesday, both the youths ran away. After the protest by Hindu organizations, the police has started searching for the criminals.
In the afternoon the police arrested both the accused. SSP Ajay Singh has named the accused as Naushad and Hasan Ali. Both the accused are residents of Jamsher Kaleni police station-Khatauli district-Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh). Police caught the two at Ashrodi on the Uttarakhand-Uttar Pradesh border when they were fleeing towards Muzaffarnagar. The accused were living on rent near Gadi Khana Book House in Mussoorie.
The video of spitting on roti in a restaurant in Doon also went viral.
Even the video of Doon spitting while making roti is going viral on the internet media. The video is said to be of Rajdhani Restaurant located in Inamula Building. The artisan is cooking rotis by placing a handkerchief on the pan. After the video circulated, police sealed the restaurant on Tuesday night.
The police have taken the accused artisan into custody and started questioning them and the authenticity of the video is being ascertained. SSP Ajay Singh said that the police got information about the incident from internet media. Bread maker Dil Mohammad and the restaurant owner have been interrogated. Further action will be taken after investigation.
Demonstration of Hindu organizations in Mussoorie
Hindu organizations in Mussoorie protested fiercely over the incident of spitting in a tea pot at Library Chowk in Mussoorie. On Wednesday, a large number of Bajrang Dal workers demonstrated in the main market and raised slogans and demanded strict action against the culprits.
