Lucknow, 09 September (HS). To revive the memory of Kakori train action in the state and to awaken the feeling of patriotism in the people, a special mobile exhibition train will run on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti 2 October. Under this, a mobile exhibition will be conducted throughout the state through a special train of 12 coaches and the history of Kakori train action will be told to the youth, students and the general public. For this mobile rail exhibition, a letter has been sent to the Chairman and CEO Railway Board, Rail Bhawan, New Delhi on 05 September by the Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture. This information was given by the State Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh.
He informed that street plays, quiz competitions, painting competitions, rangoli etc. will be organized at the stations where the exhibition is taking place. School and college students will be invited to participate in these competitions so that a sense of dedication towards the nation and new energy can be instilled in their minds.
Jaiveer Singh said that a special train of 12 coaches will be required for the mobile rail exhibition, in which 11 coaches will be used for the exhibition purpose and 01 coach AC-3 will also be attached, in which the concerned officers, employees and representatives will travel. The department will make arrangements for the decoration of this train and vinyl etc. for the exhibition.
The Tourism Minister also informed that the 100th anniversary of Kakori Train Action, an important event of the Indian freedom movement, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as Kakori Train Action Centenary Festival. Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Mukesh Kumar Meshram has written in a letter sent to the Railway Board that the arrangement of a special train should be made as soon as possible by providing the expenditure and travel program. So that this mobile exhibition train can be operated by completing all the formalities on time. He has provided the list of stations identified for the stoppage of the mobile exhibition train to the Railway Board.
