Mumbai: A local goon attacked a teacher with a rod in Kurar village of Malad (E) on Saturday. The teacher was seriously injured in the attack and was shifted to the ICU of Shatabdi Hospital in Kandivali. After this incident, local goon and accused Mohammad Haruni Idrisi alias Chaman (22) absconded.
According to sources, Aman was in one-sided love with the teacher and was pressurizing her to marry him. Following this incident, the police registered a case of attempt to murder against Idrisi and launched a crackdown to arrest him.
According to the details received in this regard, local goon Idrisi alias Chaman of Kurar village of Malad was in one-sided love with a teacher here. He was constantly harassing the teacher by stalking her and pressurizing her for marriage. Fed up with this harassment, the teacher lodged an NC case against Idrisi at Kurar police station in 2021.
Even after this incident, he did not stop stalking the teacher and continued harassing her, and even attacked the teacher. The teacher lodged an FIR against the accused Idrisi in 2022. After this the police arrested him and put him in jail. This made Idrisi angry. Even after being released on bail, he did not stop harassing the teacher. Later, on Saturday, he attacked the teacher with a stick and suffered serious injuries on his head, hands and waist and was shifted to Babasaheb Ambedkar Shatabdi Hospital in Kandivali.
Police have registered a case against Idrisi under IPC section 307 (attempt to murder) and are trying to nab Idrisi who fled after the incident.
