
Deputy Chief Minister of the state Keshav Prasad Maurya today at Ma Sheetala Guest House in Kaushambi district., Development works with senior district officials in Sayara, A detailed review meeting was held on the progress of law and order and public welfare schemes. In the meeting, he gave clear instructions that the benefits of government schemes should reach every eligible person and the resolution of public problems and complaints should be ensured with complete sensitivity, quality and timeliness. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the development works should be completed in a quality manner within the stipulated time frame. Reviewing the complaints received under IGRS, he said that complaints should not be resolved only formally., Rather, priority should be given to the satisfaction of the complainant and actual solution to the problem. Verification of settled complaints should also be done. He warned that if any negligence or irregularity is found in the disposal of complaints, action should be taken against the concerned personnel as per rules.
Shri Maurya ji obtained information about the beneficiaries of pension schemes in the district from the District Social Welfare Officer and directed that a survey should be conducted to identify such eligible people who are still deprived of the benefits of pension schemes. He said that the aim of the government is that no eligible person should be deprived of welfare schemes. While giving instructions regarding the disabled people, he said that by conducting a survey in the district, action should be taken to provide motorized tricycles to the eligible disabled people. Instructions were given to identify the eligible families left out under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Chief Minister Awas Yojana and provide them the benefits of the housing scheme.
Instructions for effective resolution of land disputes and removal of illegal encroachment
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the personnel posted in the same tehsil for a long time should be transferred as per rules. Taking the matters of land disputes seriously, he said that the Revenue and Police departments should ensure effective and timely resolution of land disputes with mutual coordination, so that the common people do not face unnecessary problems due to disputes. While giving instructions to organize Village Chaupals regularly, he said that the officers should reach the villages and listen to the problems of the people and ensure possible solutions on the spot. Emphasis on setting up large units of self-help groups in every development block.
Shri Maurya ji said that in order to strengthen the rural economy and economically empower women, necessary action should be taken immediately towards setting up a large unit of self-help groups in every development block.
