But in the last one and a half years, 2.5 lakh more students have come, so far 5 lakh Indian students have come here. A list of recognized universities is also prepared so that students are not mislead
Australia has recently increased student visa fees worldwide, the reason being that with managing such an influx, the best talent is filtered through multiple stages to come to Australia, study and build their career there. To ensure that students are not misled, a list of recognized universities-colleges has also been prepared, which they can follow.
Renowned universities like Wollongong have come to India to select 50 students to allow those Indian students who are not financially viable but are extremely talented to study at top Australian universities while staying in India. Similarly, Deakin University will teach 300 students at GIFT City in Gandhinagar.
