Jharkhand Palamu 2 Dalit girl molested: After many incidents of rape came to light during Navratri in Gujarat, now cases of gang rape have started coming to light from other states of India too. The latest case is from Palamu district of Jharkhand, where two Dalit minors returning home from the Durga Puja fair were gang-raped.
What did the police say in this matter?
Giving information about the case, a police officer said that the incident took place on Friday in Naudiha Bazaar police station area. Hewano picked up these two minors in the middle of the road and gang-raped them. A massive raid has been started to nab the accused.
the accused absconded
After the gang rape, the victims reached home and informed their family members about the incident. After this, within the next two days, an attempt was made to resolve the matter at the Panchayat level itself. Finally the matter reached the police late on Sunday evening. Investigation into this matter has been started. The accused are still absconding.
