New Delhi: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari presented a roadmap for the next five years to further improve road infrastructure in India.
During this, he announced about toll tax that now you will have to pay toll tax as much as you travel. The first phase of GPS and satellite based toll system will start in the next three months. After this, it will be implemented in the whole country.
Gadkari said that apart from this, pollution and water pollution, air pollution and land pollution are the main problems. Our first focus will be to reduce them and then eliminate them. Talking about Delhi, electric buses will be run to remove pollution. Electric taxis will be run. Apart from this, two-wheeler electric taxis will also be operated. Most of the public transport vehicles will be electrified.
He said that I went to Yugoslavia and I saw that trolley bus. This bus was made by combining three buses. 132 passengers could sit in it at a time.
Such a pilot project is to be started in Nagpur.
