A shocking and sensational case has come to light from Jorhat district of Assam, where a black-aged son wiped his hands on the locker of his own house. A 25-year-old youth, who stole around Rs 50 lakh in cash and gold jewelery from the house, spent all the money on his girlfriend’s luxuries and expensive gifts. When the father came to know about this, he himself handed his son over to the law.

Son went missing after breaking home locker, traced in Ahmedabad

According to information received from the police, the accused youth has been identified as Yash Dhanuka Aggarwal. Yash committed this theft on August 11 when none of the family members were present at home. He viciously broke the locker of the house and ran away with the business cash and jewelery kept in it.

After the incident, when Jorhat Police and Cyber ​​Security Cell started technical investigation of the case, the mobile location of accused Yash was traced to Ahmedabad through surveillance. As soon as the father came to know about his son’s misdeeds, he himself reached Ahmedabad, caught him, brought him back to Jorhat and handed him over to the police without any hesitation.

Spent lakhs of stolen money on girlfriend, got iPhone

While confessing his crime in front of the media, accused Yash told that he along with his two associates Jeetu Somani and Rohit Prasad had hatched the entire conspiracy of this theft. He admitted that he spent a large amount of the stolen money on his girlfriend Pubali Dutta.

Yash took his girlfriend to expensive hotels and resorts, spent around Rs 5 lakh in cash on her and also bought her an expensive iPhone worth Rs 1.5 lakh. However, the police say that at present the girlfriend has not been made a direct accused in this case, but she can also be summoned for in-depth interrogation and investigation of the money trail.

Police busy searching for accomplices, FIR registered

The family told the police that this cash kept in the house was for the use of their family business, about which Yash was already fully aware. Apart from Yash Aggarwal, the police have registered an FIR against his two associates Jitendra Somani and Rohit Prasad under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). To recover the stolen gold and the remaining money, the police are continuously conducting raids in search of the absconding accused.
