Amethi, 09 September (HS). In Amethi tehsil, SDM's peon Ashok Kumar Srivastava has been caught taking a bribe of five thousand rupees from a victim in the name of getting the stay order revoked. The vigilance team of anti-corruption has arrested the peon red handed from his office. After registering a case in Munshiganj police station, the team went to Ayodhya with the peon.
Ravikant Pal alias Santosh Pal, a resident of Baburi village under Tengha Gram Sabha of Sangrampur block of Amethi tehsil, was getting his house constructed. His opponent filed a case with the SDM and got a stay on it. When he got upset and went to the Peshkar, Peshkar Ashok Kumar Srivastava said that your work will be done, don't worry. For this you will have to spend 15 thousand rupees and the stay will end. When he said that this amount is too much, then the Peshkar told the solution and said that give it in three installments of five thousand each. After this, Ravikant Pal reached Ayodhya and met the anti-corruption officials and told the whole thing. After this, the team made a plan and he reached the Peshkar's office with five thousand rupees. As soon as he took out the money and handed it over to the Peshkar, the team caught him. He was brought to Munshiganj police station, where a complaint was lodged against him. After the legal process was done, the team left for Ayodhya with him.
