Ajmer, July 8 (HS). In Ajmer, the bride committed suicide by jumping from the seventh floor of the building. The girl was married a day before on July 7. The incident took place at 3:30 pm on Monday at Gokuldham Apartment in BK Kaul Nagar.
Christian Ganj police station in-charge Arvind Charan said that Komal Sharma (32), wife of Raunak Bansal, has committed suicide. The girl was a resident of Jaipur. She got married to Raunak Bansal, resident of flat number-602 in BK Kaul Nagar Gokuldham Apartment, Ajmer, on Sunday. Komal and Raunak had an inter-caste arranged marriage. Raunak has a saree business. Police said that the wedding took place at 4 am on Monday. The bride and groom reached home at 7 am. After this, rituals were going on when the bride came home. During this, the bride got nervous. She went to the roof with her husband. She told her husband to bring a chair to sit on. The husband went to the other side of the roof to get the chair. During this, she jumped. The husband ran down and took her to the hospital with the family. Where the doctors declared her dead.
On getting information about the case, Ajmer North DSP Rudra Prakash Sharma reached the hospital and took information about the incident. The spot was inspected. Police is investigating the reason behind the suicide. The girl's parental home is in Jaipur (Vaishali Nagar). On getting information about the incident, her family reached Ajmer. The girl's family is in the property business. Today evening also there was a program from the in-laws' side, in which relatives and other guests were to participate.
