Kabul: While the world's most populous secular country India will celebrate its Independence Day, on August 15, 3 years of Taliban's radical rule over Afghanistan will be completed. A “new” era began in Afghanistan with the establishment of the Taliban rule. The Taliban government came. Apart from secularism, the radical Taliban government of the chief started imposing various restrictions in the country. In which the ban on girls' education, ban on beauty parlor and ban on music are prominent. Apart from this, strict laws have been implemented.

The laws of the Afghan government (Taliban government) are so strict that even the industries of the country are not able to develop there, foreign capital investment or establishment of new industries is becoming a dream. As a result, unemployment is increasing, as a result of which at least one-third of the country's population is dependent on tea and bread.

Out of the country's 4 crore population, 125 million people survive on tea and bread only. The World Bank has warned that its growth rate will become zero in the next 3 years.

Public performances are not allowed in Afghanistan. Music is considered anti-Islam. In such a situation, thousands of people associated with music have become helpless. Famous musician Wahid Nekzai Logari says that during the previous government, I was able to support my family well. But now the situation is very bad. The question is why should a family of seven people be supported on only 5000 Afghani ($70 = about 7000 Indian rupees) per month.

This is a musician that now I can earn so much by doing something or the other but that income is only one-fifth of the income from the concerts held earlier.

The beauty parlor here has been closed for the last 3 years. Some beauty parlors run privately but hardly five customers come there every day, that too privately.

The Taliban government of Afghanistan has not been recognised by any country except Pakistan and China. Given their economic condition, the World Bank or the IMF are unable to give them loans. The world is so twisted that in the Middle Ages, the invaders from Afghanistan left no stone unturned in looting India. The same Afghanistan now has to survive on the grains sent as aid (free) from India. Farming there has also deteriorated. The amount of food that goes into it cannot be used. The main source of income of the Taliban government now is opium obtained from opium plantations. Which it steals and sells abroad to earn money.
