US President Joe Biden Shahbaz Sharif: US President Joe Biden has written a letter to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the first time during his tenure.

After the elections in Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif has recently become the Prime Minister of Pakistan again. Biden has written a letter to him telling him that the partnership between America and Pakistan is important for the security of the people of both the countries and the people of the world. America stands with Pakistan to face the serious global and regional challenges of the present time.

Biden has further said that America and Pakistan will work together for health security, economic development and education for all. The United States will continue to support Pakistan's efforts on climate change, sustainable agricultural development, water management, and recovery from severe floods in 2022 through green cooperation.

Sources believe that Biden's letter has sent a message that America is ready to work with the new government of Pakistan even after Pakistan's recent election setbacks. Following the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan in 2021, Pakistan is no longer a priority for most US leaders, but US military officials are keen to continue relations with Pakistan, citing terrorism and security issues.

By writing a letter to the PM of Pakistan, Biden has, in a way, fulfilled the wish of former PM Imran Khan. Because after Biden became the President, Imran Khan remained the Prime Minister for a year, but Biden did not talk to him and Imran Khan expressed regret by mentioning this in an interview given to foreign media.
