Islamabad: Hopes for the release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan were raised after Islamabad High Court granted bail in the second Toskha case. The former cricketer has been arrested on charges of rioting late on Thursday night. Therefore, there is disappointment and anger among the workers of his party Pakistan-Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

One case against Imran Khan is that he bought very expensive Bulgari jewelery from Toshakhana at a very low price.

It is well known that when top officials of a country go on a foreign tour, they are given valuable gifts. Which they will have to deposit in the national treasury (Toshakhana). If he wants to buy them, he can buy the gifts by paying one-third of the price legally determined at the market price. Imran Khan is accused of buying the gift at the cost of depositing it in the Toshkhana and then throwing it away.

In such allegations, the government deliberately exaggerated the truth of the price and accused Imran Khan of cheating with public money. However, Islamabad Court granted him bail. From there he went to his residence in Lahore where he was arrested late Wednesday night (Thursday morning) on charges of inciting riots in various parts of the country including Rawalpindi. The High Court released Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi on bail.

You will be shocked to know that 62 cases have been registered against cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan in Islamabad, while 54 cases have been registered in Punjab province.

On the other hand, Zakir Rehman Lakvi, who is considered the mastermind of 26/11 Mumbai attacks, is roaming freely in Pakistan.

The ISI, which has become the government of Pakistan under Imran Khan, is known for its emphasis on good relations and trade deals with India. ISI feels that this is the biggest crime.
