Islamabad: A Pakistani court on Monday rejected the bail plea of ​​jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the new Toshakhana case. In this case, the husband and wife are accused of misuse of power in buying government gifts. In the new case, the decision of the case against the husband and wife is to be taken on October 2.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had filed a case in the name of Toshakhana 2.0 this year. The case is based on allegations that Imran-Bushra had purchased a set of Bulgari jewelery without depositing it at Toshakhana. Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand pronounced the verdict after the hearing in Adiala Jail.

New case of terrorism registered against Imran:

At the same time, Punjab Police on Sunday registered a case against the former Prime Minister under the Anti-Terrorism Act regarding the protest by Imran's party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Liaqat Bagh area of ​​Rawalpindi on Saturday. Apart from Imran, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and party president Barrister Gauhar Khan have also been made accused.
