This idea was expressed by Director General Home Guards of Uttar Pradesh and senior IPS officer B.K. Maurya delivered a session on “Reforming Prison Culture: Promoting Rehabilitation through Human Centered Design” held today at the Department of Social Work, Lucknow University. He said that universities have a very important role in preventing crime. Here children become responsible citizens of the society and also become excellent individuals. Referring to the postgraduate level Criminology and Criminal Justice Administration course running in the Department of Social Work, he said that the teachers and students studying in this course can play an important role in jail reform, because here along with teaching, practical training in crime reform is given. is also being given. The students and teachers of this course will definitely be able to make a program for the rehabilitation of the people who have completed their sentence through their experience.
