Minister Singh was addressing the birth anniversary celebration of Lord Birsa Munda held in village Dangha-Chandankheda of Gadarwara area of Narsinghpur district on Friday. On this occasion, he also performed Bhoomi Pujan for the installation of the statue of Lord Birsa Munda.
The School Education Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has today launched the Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Utkarsh Abhiyan. The objective of this campaign is to provide essential basic facilities in tribal areas. In this, developing infrastructure, promoting economic empowerment, good education and healthy life are important.
While interacting with the people of tribal community present in the program, Minister Singh said that a grand and attractive marriage building will be built in Dangaha. For this he announced a donation of Rs 30 lakh. On the demand of the villagers, Minister Singh approved Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand for the construction of a platform. Local public representatives were also present in the program.
