Impact of cyclonic storm 'Dana' will be visible in Madhya Pradesh, chances of rain in 8 districts on 26-27 October

Bhopal, 25 October (HS). The impact of the cyclonic storm 'Dana' arising from the Bay of Bengal will also be seen in Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms and light rain in 8 districts including Jabalpur in the eastern part of the state on October 26 and 27. Whereas other cities including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior will remain sunny. Due to the impact of the storm, the wind speed will also increase in the state. Currently, the wind speed in many cities ranges from 25 to 39 km per hour.

The Meteorological Department said that the temperature in many cities was recorded below 30 degrees Celsius during the day on Thursday. Pachmarhi was the coldest during the day. The mercury was recorded at 25.8 degrees in Pachmarhi, 28.2 degrees in Betul and 27.5 degrees in Malajkhand. Talking about big cities, the temperature was recorded at 31 degrees in Bhopal, 31.4 degrees in Indore, 34 degrees in Gwalior, 32 degrees in Ujjain and 31 degrees Celsius in Jabalpur.

Monsoon has returned from Madhya Pradesh on October 15, but due to the activity of the system, rains continue in many districts. During the last 24 hours, light rain was recorded in Dewas, Sehore, Ujjain, Indore, Khandwa, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Barwani and Chhindwara. At the same time, now the effect of the cyclonic storm will also be visible in the state. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and light rain in Jabalpur, Katni, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Mandla and Balaghat on 26 and 27 October. In the rest of the districts the weather will be clear and there will be sunshine.
