In such a situation, rain and snowfall has been predicted for two days (May 4 and 5).

Three national highways and 44 roads were closed due to snowfall

Vehicular movement has come to a standstill due to blockage of many roads due to snowfall in the higher reaches of the state. According to the State Emergency Operations Centre, three national highways and 44 roads remained closed in the state till Thursday morning. 38 roads are closed in Lahaul-Spiti, three in Kullu, two in Chamba and one in Kangra. Two national highways in Lahaul-Spiti and one in Kullu are also blocked. Apart from this, there is power failure in nine in Lahaul-Spiti, six in Chamba and one in Kinnaur due to transformer failure.
