Moderate to heavy rains may occur in some areas of Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions of Rajasthan.

The maximum temperature in the national capital Delhi on Sunday was recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius, which is one degree more than the average. The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy weather and light rain in the capital during the day. IMD said that on Monday the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be around 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 25 degrees Celsius.
Heavy rain predicted in Odisha for three days
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), many parts of Odisha may receive heavy to very heavy rains in the next three days as the low pressure area over Jharkhand is moving westwards. In view of the IMD forecast, the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has issued a high alert for all districts and alerted the officials. It has forecast heavy to very heavy rains (7 to 20 cm) at isolated places in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur and Kendrapara districts on Sunday. Heavy rain predicted in Rajasthan
The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in many areas of Kota, Udaipur and Jodhpur divisions on Monday. According to the department, there is a strong possibility of reduction in heavy rain activities from August 27. Five devotees were swept away by the strong current of water after heavy rains on Saturday and Sunday in Jalore, Rajasthan, out of which three people were rescued, while a woman died and the search for another is on. During this, heavy rains occurred at some places in Udaipur, Dholpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Kota, Baran, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Tonk, Jalore, Dausa, Sawai Madhopur and Sirohi districts. According to the Meteorological Department, the highest rainfall in eastern Rajasthan was recorded in Dausa at 144.0 mm and in western Rajasthan, 65 mm rain was recorded in Raniwada of Jalore.
