IMD Rainfall Alert: Heavy rain in these states including UP; IMD told the date

Rain Alert: Rain is expected to provide relief from the heat in many states including Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has said that there will be heavy rain in the states of Central, Eastern and South India for the next four days i.e. till May 13. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of lightning and strong winds.

Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature in some areas of western Rajasthan crossed 45 degrees Celsius. There was heat wave condition in these areas. According to the Meteorological Department, there is going to be heavy rain in West Bengal, Sikkim on 10-12 May, Bihar, Jharkhand on 12-12 May and Odisha on 10-14 May. An alert has also been issued for storm and lightning. At the same time, there is going to be heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura for the next seven days. Talking about other states, there will be rain in Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh on 10-14 May, Madhya Pradesh on 9-11 May and Marathwada on 9 May. Hail warning has been issued in Madhya Pradesh on May 10-13, Vidarbha on May 12-13, Madhya Maharashtra on May 11 and 12 and Marathwada on May 12.

Talking about the weather of North India, there is a possibility of rain, thunderstorm and lightning in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on 10-13 May. Hail will fall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh between 10 to 11 May and in Uttarakhand between 10 to 13 May. Talking about the plains, there will be light to moderate rain in Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh between May 10-13. Apart from this, there is also an alert of strong winds, storm and lightning.
