IMD predicted rain in 24 states, see where there will be light and where heavy rain

Weather forecast today (August 10): The Meteorological Department said that cyclonic winds are blowing just above the low pressure area over south-eastern Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas, Rajasthan and South Jharkhand and adjoining areas. Due to its effect, heavy rains are expected in 24 states and union territories for the next seven days.

This includes Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi and Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Maharashtra, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and all the seven northeastern states are also likely to receive heavy rains during this period.
