For the last few days, there has been a constant change in the weather of Delhi-NCR. Sometimes it is sunny and sometimes it suddenly starts raining. Now IMD has predicted what the weather will be like in Delhi-NCR for the next 6 days. The Meteorological Department has made a prediction about the monsoon.

Rain forecast by Meteorological Department

It has rained in Delhi-NCR in the last two days, which has given relief to the people from the heat. Today, the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 30.5 degrees. Amidst the change in weather, IMD has now given a relief news. The Meteorological Department estimates that this time there will be as much rain as there has been heat.

The monsoon starts in early July

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will start in early July. On June 23, the maximum temperature in Delhi-NCR will be 45.94 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 37.17 degrees Celsius. There is also a possibility of cloudy weather on this day. Whereas on June 24, the maximum temperature can be 47.55 degrees and the minimum temperature can be 38.07 degrees. The weather is likely to be clear on this day. On June 25, the maximum temperature in Delhi-NCR will be 47.99 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 37.45 degrees. Whereas on June 26, the maximum temperature can be 48.11 degrees and the minimum temperature can be 36.45 degrees. There is a possibility of cloudy weather on this day. So on June 27, the maximum temperature can be 43.63 degrees and the minimum temperature can be 33.39 degrees Celsius.

Possibility of being IOD positive

On June 28, the maximum temperature in the entire NCR including the capital Delhi was 40.57 degrees and the minimum temperature was 31.03 degrees. Light to moderate rain may occur throughout the day. The Indian Ocean affects the dipole monsoon to a great extent. IOD is affected by the difference in sea and surface temperature from the atmosphere. The activities taking place in the Indian Ocean decide how the monsoon will be. Right now the IOD is neutral here. IOD is likely to become positive soon. So it can be assumed that the rain will be good.

Possibility of good rains in monsoon

Even before this, when the IOD was positive, India received more than normal rainfall in 1983, 1994 and 1997. Although it was negative, there was very little rainfall in the year 1992. El Nino and La Nina are considered to be the two most important factors for monsoon. In El Nino, the sea temperature rises by 3 to 4 degrees. Due to El Nino, the monsoon in India is often weak. At present, El Nino is weak in the Pacific Ocean. The El Nino effect is neutral. According to the scientists of the Meteorological Department, El Nino will turn into La Nina in July. Due to which there is a possibility of good rain in the monsoon.
