IMD issues warning of heavy rain in 10 states till October 16, know the weather condition in your state

Rain Alert: Monsoon is on the verge of departure from the entire country. Despite this, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain in 10 states till October 16, due to which there are chances of heavy rain in many areas. According to IMD, the southwest monsoon is likely to withdraw from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, parts of Maharashtra, Bihar and Jharkhand in the next two days. However, heavy rains are expected to continue over many states, especially South Peninsular India.

Meanwhile, turmoil has once again increased in the Bay of Bengal. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that the low pressure system will turn into a cyclone by Monday. In view of the cyclone, the Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh has directed officials of the Home and Disaster Management Department to remain alert and prepared for possible impacts. Along with this, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in many districts like Bapatla, Prakasam, Nellore, Kurnool and Nandyala. The effect of this cyclone will be seen from Bengal to Bihar.

According to IMD's forecast for the southern states, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry may receive heavy rains till October 15, Kerala in the next six days and Andhra Pradesh from October 14 to 16. There will be rain in Karnataka also till October 14. Whereas Tamil Nadu and Kerala may receive very heavy rains on 14 and 15 October.

Also, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Gujarat today. Light to moderate rain is likely at some places over Konkan, Goa, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh. Delhi will have partly cloudy sky today with maximum temperature at 34 degree Celsius and minimum temperature at 19 degree Celsius. No other specific temperature has been issued for the national capital.

How will be the weather of Bihar?

Monsoon has started departing from Bihar, the rainy season is about to end with Vijayadashami. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain at some places till October 18, especially in districts like Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj and Bhagalpur, an alert has been issued. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in the northern and southern parts of the state for the next 6 days. There is a possibility of a gradual decline in the night temperature, while there may be a slight increase in the day temperature, which will increase the humidity. Due to the arrival of westerly winds, a cold environment is being created and cold may start around the festival of Diwali and Chhath.
