Illegally acquired property worth Rs 35 crore of former General Secretary of Bar Association attached

Tehsildar Shraddha Pandey has attached property worth Rs 35 crore of Sanjeev Paria, former general secretary of the Bar Association, who is lodged in Shahjahanpur jail in a gangster case. This also includes his Paria Inter College. Whose value has been estimated at Rs 5 crore 70 lakh.

Tehsildar Shraddha Pandey said that the District Magistrate had issued an order to complete the property against Sanjeev Paria on March 20, 2024. In compliance with which, today their shops at Loco Road and Soni Paria School were attached. Apart from this, five of his places and properties are to be confiscated. Notice has been given to close the five shops running in his residence. Police is evacuating the shops.

The Tehsildar said that this property was acquired wrongly. For this reason it has been confiscated. Attachment proceedings are ongoing. All five of their properties will be confiscated today itself. On this occasion, Area Officer City Pradeep Singh, Police Station Head Kadrigate, Farrukhabad Mau Darwaza police station along with heavy police force were present.
