Nawada, July 29 (HS). Illegal mining of mica is continuing in Hardiya Panchayat of Rajauli police station area of ​​Nawada district.

Despite lakhs of efforts, illegal mining is not being stopped. The situation is such that the mica mafia is getting rich by illegally cutting down forests, cutting down mountains and mining mica.

Mica is being mined in forest areas with the help of JCB and labourers. Due to lack of action in these areas, the mining mafia is emboldened. If experts are to be believed, mica is loaded on a Shaktiman vehicle and sold at a high price in the market of Tilaiya in Jharkhand state.

Experts say that in this area, there is so much illegal mining of mica on forest department land that the government is losing revenue of Rs 50 lakh per day. The forest department and the police have conducted raids on a large scale several times to stop illegal mining, many vehicles have been caught and FIRs have also been registered against the mica mafia. But this has no effect on these people.
