When Belargaon Tehsildar Kusum Pradhan received the complaint about illegal sand mining and it reached Sitanadi in Bhursidongari, there was a stir among the sand mafia. The Tehsildar was surprised to see that five tractor-trolleys were pulling each other to take out a trolley of sand from the water, during which there was a possibility of the tractor-trolley overturning.
There was a possibility of an accident. After seeing this, the Tehsildar immediately took action to stop illegal excavation of sand by confiscating 12 vehicles and handed over all the vehicles to the Mineral Department. The seized tractor-trolley is the vehicles of Kiran Kashyap, Dilip Sahu, Manohar Das, Brijlal, Pannalal Prajapati, Ajay Dhruv, Fagudas Manikpuri, Mansharam Sahu, Vinod Netam. After the action, all the vehicles have been kept in the Sihawa police station premises.
