Ramgarh, 04 May (HS). The game of illegal coal continues in the district. A living example of this is becoming clear from the action taken by Ramgarh police station against illegal coal. Ramgarh police station once again caught a Tata 709 mini truck loaded with illegal coal near Chater Mor in Chutupalu valley. In this matter, Sub Inspector Sumant Kumar Rai posted at Ramgarh police station has registered a case.
He told that he got secret information that 709 trucks were being taken towards Ranchi after illegally excavating coal from Kundrukala Damodar river bank. Based on the information, checking was being done near Chatter Mor of Chutupalu valley. Meanwhile, the truck driver parked the vehicle on the roadside and took advantage of the darkness and ran away. The police seized the Tata 709 mini truck and brought it to the police station. Here, under Ramgarh police station case number 125/24, section 414/34 IPC and 30(¡¡) Coal Mines Act and 33 Forest Act, the police arrested the driver, truck owner, smuggler Asheshwar Mahato, resident of Karma village Kuju, Naveen Jha, resident of Ranibagi, Ormanjhi. A case has been registered against mother Tara Coal Depot owner Vijay Sahu and Umesh Mahato and investigation has been started.
