IIT Indore has made absolutely amazing shoes. These are shoes that will generate electricity by walking. These shoes will not only benefit soldiers but also children and elderly people suffering from Alzheimer's.
By wearing these shoes, soldiers will be able to generate electricity with every step they take and it can be used even in remote areas of the country. The electricity generated by walking wearing these shoes will be stored in the capacitor installed in the sole of the shoe and will power the electronic circuit installed inside. Parents can also use it to monitor small children. These shoes can also be used to measure and evaluate the performance of athletes and players. The special thing is that IIT Indore has discovered this important technology in collaboration with DRDO.
How do these shoes work?
These shoes are also equipped with RFID for tracking the soldiers and GPS for location tracing. This means that now even in remote areas, soldiers will not have to face the problem of lack of electricity. They will generate so much energy through their movement that with the help of tracking technology, they will be able to perform well in any operation.
Keeping in mind the requirement of DRDO: IIT
Talking about this innovation, IIT Indore Director Suhas Joshi said that these days there is a huge demand for portable energy sources. These shoes, designed keeping in mind the requirement of DRDO, will bring revolutionary changes in energy harvesting.
