Ranchi, August 28 (HS). IG campaign AV Homkar held a meeting through video conferencing on Wednesday to control and prepare a strategy on the gangs of organized criminals active in the state. SSPs and SPs of Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Bokaro, Latehar, Chatra were present in this meeting. In the meeting, the IG directed to take strict action by identifying the kingpins and members of organized criminal gangs for crime control.

To curb the organised criminal gangs, he stressed upon the Senior Superintendents of Police and Superintendents of Police of the concerned districts to take strict action against those gangs for crime control, arrest the absconding criminals of the organised criminal gangs at any cost and curb the crime, including speedy disposal of pending cases. In all the concerned districts, prepare a list of criminal gangs and their members and arrest the absconding criminals soon and keep an eye on the criminals lodged in jail, so that they cannot operate their criminal gang from jail through mobile.
