Coimbatore: Jaggi Vasudev, popularly known as Sadhguru, is once again in controversy. Following the order of Tamil Nadu Court, a convoy of 150 policemen raided Jaggi Vasudev's Isha Foundation. Along with the policemen, three DSPs were also involved in this raid. All the documents of the institution and the identity cards of the people living there were verified. Habeas corpus petition was filed in the High Court. Retired Professor Dr. S Kamaraj claimed in his petition that his daughters have been kept hostage in the ashram against their will.

The professor also claimed that Jaggi Vasudev's organization is brainwashing women and turning them into nuns. He also breaks contact with his family. The High Court took cognizance of this claim and asked Jaggi Vasudev that if your daughter is married and living a family life, then why do you ask other girls to stay in the ashram or get tonsured etc.? Why do you make other people's daughters into monks?

Professor Dr. S Kamaraj also gave information about his daughters in the petition, stating that both his daughters, 42-year-old Geeta and 39-year-old Lata Kamaraj, are educated. Geeta has a master's degree in Mechatronics from a reputed university in UK, her salary was very good before divorce in 2008, later she joined the yoga classes of Jaggi Institute and remained in the institute. The second daughter Lata was a software engineer but like her sister, she also decided to leave everything and join an organization. The organization provides medicine and food to the people living there, due to which the person is unable to use his knowledge and gradually gets separated from the family.

The professor said in the petition that a doctor associated with Isha Foundation was accused of physically exploiting 12 girl students of a tribal school, against whom a case was registered under POCSO. The professor's daughters were present in the court who claimed that he had adopted the spiritual path by his own choice. Later, High Court Judge Subramaniam questioned that if someone has adopted the path of spirituality then why did he break the relationship with his parents, it is a sin to abandon one's parents. Atayatma teaches to love all people. But here you are not respecting your parents. Later the court was told that many cases were registered against Jaggi Vasudev's organization. After which the High Court asked for details of all the cases. After the order of the High Court, when the Coimbatore SP asked for the investigation report, the police conducted a raid. Meanwhile, Isha Foundation has called all these allegations false.
