Delhi's Water Minister Atishi has written a letter to the CEO of Delhi Jal Board and given instructions regarding wastage of water. She said in the letter, she has instructed to immediately deploy 200 teams in Delhi to deal with piped washing of cars, overflowing of water tanks and use of domestic water supply for construction or commercial purposes.
Teams will be deployed from May 30
Atishi directed that the teams will be deployed from 8 am tomorrow. If any person is found wasting water, he will be fined Rs 500. A fine of Rs 2000 will be imposed. Also disconnect any illegal water connection at construction sites or commercial establishments.
