Fat consumption can also affect the body’s immunity, but it is not necessary that all fats are harmful. However, junk food and highly fried food should be avoided. Instead, include healthy fats in the diet like olive oil, avocado, dried fruits, fish, chia seeds and walnuts, which help strengthen immunity.

It is wrong to take too many supplements

Nowadays many people take supplements to improve their immunity, but this is not a 100 percent beneficial option. Experts believe that excessive consumption of supplements without doctor’s advice can create imbalance in the body and can, in turn, weaken the immune system.

Fresh fruits and vegetables should be washed thoroughly so that they remain free from harmful germs. Apart from this, consumption of healthy fats, adequate proteins, vitamins and minerals strengthens the body and maintains better immunity. Excessive workout can also affect the immunity, hence balance should be maintained in exercise.
