Kabul: The interim government of the Taliban has made new changes in Islamic laws and has increased strictness on women. According to this, if any woman goes out of the house, she should cover her face completely. She should not even talk to anyone. The Taliban government has ordered that if she does not wear a full veil or if her voice comes out, her skin will be peeled off.

The United Nations Mission has objected to this law of the Taliban, but the Taliban does not consider those objections. They have also changed the Islamic law and published 35 new rules last Wednesday. A special police has been hired to enforce those laws. It enforces these rules.

There are various punishments for violating this law, including first a warning, then a threat, then a fine, imprisonment, and finally flogging.

There are strict restrictions on men as well. Men cannot keep any woman's photo in their pockets, if they come late to the mosque during namaz then they are punished with jail, they cannot even keep any woman's photo of their family in their pockets.

It is worth noting that when the Taliban came back to power on 15 August 2021, their interim government imposed many restrictions on women, which we have seen above. There is no place for other religions in the Taliban regime, so thousands of Hindus, Sikhs, Parsis and Christians are leaving Afghanistan. It also imposes severe restrictions on freedom of the press. The media is not allowed to publish any matter or article related to 'Sharia-law' or religion.

The United Nations has expressed serious concern over these restrictions, especially restrictions on women and restrictions on the press. But the Taliban does not care.
