hot water
Warm water can be used to identify real and fake honey. Take warm water in a glass and add a spoon of honey to it. If the honey is pure, it will stick to the bottom of the glass or stick to the spoon. But, if the honey is fake, it will dissolve in water like sugar syrup.

Flame Test
You can also check whether honey is real or fake with the flame of fire. Take a boxwood stick and dip it in honey and then try to light it with a matchstick. If the tube of the box burns easily then the honey is pure and if it does not burn then the honey is fake. Actually, due to adulteration, fake honey contains more moisture than pure honey.

Tissue paper test
For this test, take a piece of tissue paper and dip it in honey. If the piece of paper absorbs the honey and a water-like mark appears on the paper, then the honey is fake, not pure.

Take a drop of honey and apply it on the finger. If the honey starts slipping from the finger then the honey is not pure and if it sticks to the finger then the honey is pure.

Bread Test
To do this test, apply honey on the bread. Now look at the bread carefully. If the honey is pure, then the bread will harden in a short while and if the honey is fake, then the bread will remain soft due to its moisture.
