Many people like cheese. Any party or function seems incomplete without paneer. It is not only delicious but being rich in protein and calcium, cheese is also beneficial for health. People prepare paneer in many ways and prepare different types of dishes. Have you ever eaten Tawa Paneer Masala? If not, try this time. In this dish, paneer is marinated in curd and cooked in a pan with a mixture of spices. Let us know how you can make it at home.
Material:
Paneer – 300 grams
Finely chopped capsicum – 3
Onion – 2-3 finely chopped
Tomato – 4 pieces
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Thick curd – 1 cup
Celery – ½ teaspoon
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 teaspoon
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tablespoon
Cumin powder – 2 teaspoons
Pav bhaji masala – 2 spoons
Refined oil – 4 tbsp
Chopped coriander – ½ cup
salt as per taste

Take curd in a large bowl and add turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, carom seeds, ginger-garlic paste and salt. Mix well.
Cut the cheese into small pieces and wrap the curd mixture on them. Cover and let it marinate for about 30 minutes.
Heat the pan and add 2 tablespoons oil. When the oil becomes hot, add marinated paneer pieces into it.
Cook the paneer on low flame, turning it from all sides, until it is cooked well.
Meanwhile, heat remaining oil in a pan. Add chopped onion to it and fry for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
Add finely chopped capsicum to it and fry for 5 minutes.
When capsicum is cooked, add ground tomato, turmeric, salt and pav bhaji masala and cook on low flame until the masala leaves oil.
Lower the flame, add cooked cheese to the masala and garnish with chopped coriander.
