If you are troubled by lizards and insects during the rainy season, then adopt these home remedies… | News India

Usually, during the rainy season, we face the problem of insects and lizards inside the houses. These creatures are often attracted to light at night and can cause potential infections.

During the rainy season, the number of lizards increases manifold. Therefore, it becomes necessary to find ways to get rid of lizards. Here are some simple home remedies to get rid of this problem.

Onion and Garlic: The strong smell of garlic and onions can ward off lizards or geckos. Place onion slices or raw garlic cloves around your house. You can keep onion or garlic cloves in a plastic bottle with a little water.

This will release a smell and act as a deterrent to lizards. These remedies are not only harmless to lizards, but they also provide some relief from insects and moths.

Naphthalene tablets: Naphthalene balls can be an effective way to get rid of lizards. However, it is important to note that pets or small children should be kept away while using these measures, as exposure to naphthalene can be harmful to children's health. Lizards cannot tolerate the strong smell of naphthalene and will stay away from areas where these balls have been placed.

Pepper Spray: Pepper spray is a very effective option to get rid of lizards in the house. You can easily make it at home by grinding black pepper finely.

Mix the chilli powder with water and pour the mixture into a spray bottle. Spray this mixture in places where lizards are usually found. The pungent smell of the pepper will deter lizards from visiting those areas. Alternatively, you can use red chilli powder with water.
