If we want to defeat anti-national forces, we will have to use the power of religion: Mohan Bhagwat | News India

RSS and BJP News : Some elements do not want India to develop and progress. This is why such elements create obstacles in the path of the country's progress. But we do not need to fear anyone, because the situation was similar during the time of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, but they were confronted using the power of religion, said RSS president Mohan Bhagwat.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat while addressing the release program of the book 'Tanjavarche Marathe' written by author Dr. Milind Paradkar said that religion does not mean only worship and rituals. But it has a wider meaning, which includes truth, compassion, penance, dedication.

He said, the word Hindu is an adjective, which symbolises acceptance of diversity. He emphasised that India works for a purpose and exists to advance the idea of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam'.

In the past there were large scale external attacks on India, so people were cautious, but now different types of attacks are taking place.

Talking about Taraka and Pootna, RSS President Mohan Bhagwat said, in Ramayana, when the demoness Taraka attacked, she created a lot of havoc and was killed by a single arrow of Ram-Lakshman. But during the Mahabharata period, the demoness Pootna assumed the form of Lord Krishna's aunt to kill him and raised Krishna, but the child Krishna killed her.

The RSS chief said, the situation today is also the same. There is aggression and it is destructive in every way. All types of aggression, whether economic, religious or political, are destructive. Some elements are creating obstacles in the path of India's development and creating fear of its emergence on the global stage, but they will not succeed.

He said that those who fear that India's massive development will put them out of business are doing everything in their power to block the country's path of development. But the factor that affects life, called the life force, defines India. This life force is the basis of our nation and is based on Dharma, which will always remain. Dharma was there at the beginning of creation and it will be needed till the end.
