How to change photo in Aadhar card?
Before applying for photo change in Aadhar card, note that UIDAI allows Aadhar card users to change their demographic details like name, address, date of birth, gender, mobile number and email online. However, to update biometric details like fingerprint, iris and photograph online you will have to undergo biometric verification, hence you will have to visit the Aadhaar center itself and pay a nominal fee.
1. For this, first of all you have to go to the official website of UIDAI. This website is uidai.gov.in
2. Now visit this website and download the Aadhaar Enrollment Form.
3. Now fill the required information in this form.
4. Later visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Center and submit the form.
5. Now the executive present at this center will do your biometric verification and check the details.
6. Now this officer will click your latest photo to update it in Aadhar Card.
7. Later you will be charged Rs 100 including GST.
8. Now you will get an update request number. Using which you can go to UIDAI website and track whether the photo has been updated or not.
