New Delhi: BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut has once again given a controversial statement regarding the farmers' movement. Kangana claimed that if the farmers' movement had not been stopped, Punjab would have become Bangladesh. Kangana has created a controversy by comparing the rebellion going on in Bangladesh with the farmers' movement in Punjab.
Earlier, Kangana had talked about defaming the farmers' movement by saying that women farmers sit on dharna for Rs 100-200. Due to which Kangana slapped a female passenger at the airport. It has been a short time since that controversy that now Kangana has once again given a controversial statement regarding the farmers' movement. The BJP MP alleged that big planning was done during the farmers' movement, if the government did not withdraw the agricultural laws, the situation in Punjab would have become like Bangladesh. Kangana also claimed that rapes and murders took place during the farmers' movement.
Kangana is currently busy promoting her film based on the crisis. Meanwhile, Kangana has given this statement about Punjab and farmers. Kangana's statement has put the BJP in a dilemma in Punjab. On the other hand, Congress is angry with Kangana's statement. Congress leader Rajkumar Verka has demanded that NSA be imposed on Kangana and she be sent to Diburgar jail in Assam. She keeps spewing venom against the leaders of Punjab every day, now Kangana has said that rapes and murders have taken place during the farmers' movement.
