Mandsaur, September (H.S.). Abhishek Anand, the new police captain of Mandsaur district, took charge on August 14. After becoming the Mandsaur SP, a special discussion was held with him on Sunday with Hindustan News about the law and order situation in the district. The newly appointed Superintendent of Police Anand said that he is originally a resident of Nalanda district of Bihar. His father retired from the post of District Judge in Bihar. He has studied engineering. After which many job offers came and he worked for two years as a Commissioner in Assistant Provident Fund PPF in Ahmedabad, but somewhere in his mind, there was a desire to go into civil services. Which was given shape by my father and with his inspiration I started preparing for civil services and I was selected for the post of IPS officer of 2018 batch.
Mandsaur is the second district for the post of Superintendent of Police
Anand told that Mandsaur is the second district to be appointed as the District Superintendent of Police. Before this, he was the SP of Sheopur. Before that, he has served as CSP in Javra, ASP in Ujjain and Deputy Commissioner of Police in Indore.
Seriousness in nature from the beginning
Regarding his nature, the SP said that seriousness has been in his nature since childhood. He is also very serious about his job. He said that criminals should have fear of the police while the common people should have faith in the police. I am doing my job with this basic principle. Maintaining law and order is one of my priorities.
I am very satisfied with working in Madhya Pradesh
You told that when I passed the UPSC exam, in the state selection, the first district filled was Bihar and the second one I got was Madhya Pradesh. I am satisfied with the job till now, the environment here is also very good.
Never had to face political pressure
Abhishek Anand said that till now he has never had to face political pressure in his job. Because he has worked honestly and will continue to work honestly. Helping people is my first and last aim. I have worked according to the intentions of the government. Whatever challenges I have faced in my job, I have worked with full courage. Criminals should have fear of the police and the government.
I learned a lot from Javara
You told that my first posting was in Javra, hence I have a special attachment to that place. Javra has a different importance from the religious point of view and it is also a sensitive area, hence I learnt a lot from there which is still useful. I am also familiar with Mandsaur, now I have got an opportunity to work in Mandsaur, here also I will work as per the wishes of the government. Cases will be tightened against the criminals.
Likes running and movies
SP said that he likes running in his free time and even after that, if he gets time, he likes watching patriotic movies.
