The deadline for those coming to India on a short -term visa was 27 April 2025 and for those coming on medical visas, 29 April 2025 was fixed. If any Pakistani citizen is found in the country after this time limit, he will be arrested and put in jail. Along with this, he can be imprisoned up to three years and a fine of up to three lakh rupees or both punishment.
Amit Shah’s order to all Chief Ministers
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has ordered the Chief Ministers of all states to identify Pakistani citizens and send them back. According to the instructions of the Government of India, 509 Pakistani citizens have left India in the last three days. Along with this, a total of 745 Indian citizens, including 14 diplomats, have returned to India from Pakistan through the Wagah-Attari border.

The deadline for 12 types of visa holders to leave India was April 27, while the deadline for SAARC visa holders has ended on 26 April. However, long -term visa holders are exempted from this order.
