Now the question is whether India Alliance will be able to form the government after the support of Nitish and Naidu? According to the Election Commission, India Alliance has won 234 seats. Whereas the majority figure is 272. In such a situation, India Alliance needs 38 more seats to form the government. Even if TDP and JDU get seats, it still remains 28. With this, India Alliance will be able to reach 262 seats. To come to power, it will need 10 more seats.

All the four independent candidates who won are those who have a background in Congress or its allies. It will need one more MP to get a majority.
